Peugeot 406 juddering off load at 1300 ish rpm in 4th and 5th gear????

Car: Peugeot 406
Variant: 2.0 hdi 90 LX manual
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
to give a little history i only got this car a few months ago, fuel consumption is averageing out at 36mpg which i think is poor, mate used to own the 110bhp version same car averaged 50mpg easy?
i have done full service, all filters and fluids, replaced clutch and gearbox (usual 3rd gear sync' gone). unusually have 2 speed sensors now and am using the fly wheel one but have plug on loom for drive shaft one just left it unplugged as wasn't on previous box?
to the problem, i have a juddering at 1300 ish RPM in 4th and 5th gear when going up any sort of incline, however small, so at 30mph and 40mph it just won't cruise without dropping a gear??? never had this with any previous car. take your foot off throttle it slows down but juddering goes, give extra throttle juddering goes to0 but u are now breaking speed limit!
Any ideas???

xould be fuel injectors or pump fault, you need to check the injectors wiring connections and get a diagnostic run to check for any fault codes

To be fair you are expecting a lot from a car of that size and power output. At 1300 rpm in 4th or fifth going up an incline it is going to struggle and labour slightly.
