First thing I'd be looking at is the BSI unit,the bsi is the body interface unit and every electrical system runs through it.
A global system check would be the thing to do but that requires Peugeot Planet diagnostic system so it's either the main dealer or some one with peugeot software,Bosch kts or some similar high end diagnostics,not what you'll find in most garages.

also check under the carpet on the drivers side for water in the connectors under there. check battery voltage and earth cable to gearbox as well
