Peugeot 406 handbrake slack

Can somebody tell me how to adjust the Handbrake on the 406 please as it just needs a slight tightening up.

look at the back of or underneath the handbreak lever, usually you can see the cable and a nut, just tighten the nut and keep checking the handbrake operation as you tighten.

Sometimes the adjusters can be at the rear wheels, you'll need to check first. I would check the break shoes/pads for wear before adjusting the cable.
