Peugeot 308 steering wheel vibration

when driving along at about 70mph, when i apply the brakes i feel a vibrating through the wheel. its most noticable when slowing down from a high speed.
Any ides?

if it is juddering when braking then check the front discs are not warped or have excessive wear,if you are getting steering wheel wobble it could also mean the wheels need balancing,if you still can`t find the problem then check steering/suspension arms/bushes and balljoints for excess play

almost sure you have warped discs. Had it myself once. Unless you can have them lathed its new discs for you mate. soz

I have this problem, however, with my 308 sport it is not through the full speed range. I only have the vibration from around 70 mph down to about 30 mph. When I reach 30 mph, the vibration just stops.

I had a bit of a shunt in it in February, NOT MY FAULT IN MY EYES!, and have had the problem since.
