Peugeot 308 central locking issue

Car: Peugeot 308
Variant: 1.6hdi
Model Year: 2012
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Car starts easily so no problem with the battery. Central locking buttons on the key are unresponsive. If I unlock the car manually, switch the ignition on and off again then remove the key, both buttons on the key fob work correctly. The next time I use the car it has to be unlocked manually and the cycle repeats itself.

First thing I would check WOULD be the battery voltage when cold and after lying unused , preferably overnight

Thanks, I'll check that in the morning.

Thanks for your help. In the end, I took the car to a Peugeot garage and they fixed the problem almost instantly. A shunt in the fuse box was in the wrong place. It was set to factory mode. They changed it to client mode and it's worked perfectly.
