Peugeot 308 drivers door window

Car: Peugeot 308
Variant: 308CC SE HDI Auto 1997cc
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
After unlocking car and touching door handle window drops by about 1" as expected, but quickly rises back up before you can get in and close the door so that the window catches on the door seal, therefore not sealing correctly, putting strain on the window and causing wind noise. If when getting out of the car, you touch the outside door handle before closing the door, the window opens about 1" enabling you to shut the door correctly, but by not touching the handle the window is in the fully up position before closing the door and it fails to meet the seals correctly.
