Peugeot 308 308 no current in wire....no fuse in fuse box for rear lights ????????

i have a dead wire....no current in RH rear tail light.
but i cant find which fuse it belongs to.......have checked all 3 fuse box locations that i can find....no fuse for RH rear lights.
im assuming left and right side have separate fuses or circuits as LH side has power.
where is this wires power source coming from.
im ok with old school stuff but electronics are my downfall.
had thoughts of running wire from passenger side to power RH tail light but the wires are such small diameter im worried may not carry extra current.
Any thoughts,suggestions greatly appreciated.

Not fused,
like everything on these it's controlled by the BSI (body systems interface) terminal 12 if you want to check for current there.
Current there and you've got a burnt/high resistance wire.
No V/A at terminal 12 and I'd suspect the short has damaged the BSI.

Thanks 1/4 Drive for the info,
i have done a little more reading and now have a very basic understanding of these new ( to me) systems.
I will check terminal 12....(i assume that is F12 is in fuse box under bonnet) for voltage /current.
As bush mechanic repair i have run power from passenger side (LHS) tail lamp to faulty side so car can be driven at night,although i have now noticed that the number plate light is also out.

Assumption incorrect,
Not F14 but terminal #14 on the bsi multi plug.

Both lamps wires will run in close proximity so I'd suggest you have a set of bad wires running from the cluster back to the Body Systems Interface,
Your going to either have to check every mil along these wires or run new ones from the BSI to the cluster.
Both systems share the same ground so check that too.

what condition is the connector in to the light that isn't working?
\I bet the connector has got hot due to poor earth so the Built in systems interface has switched off supply to that lamp

yes you are correct....the earth wire on the rh side was corroded/burnt out.....i repaired the earth wire but suspect i have either shorted the power to indicator or it became damaged when earth wire blew out.
either way no power in parking lamps rh side.
have removed PARC waited appropriate time and refitted it with no result.
i will have to engage an expert to repair and will post outcome.

The best repair is to replace the connector and depending on the condition of the bulb holder this may require replacing aswell.

thanks to all.
i have repaired bad earth.
i have run wire from circuit of LH parker of vehicle along the boot and connected wire to RH side parker circuit to give me tail lights.
as each parker side uses 2 bulbs....i have removed one bulb from each side to safeguard from system deciding extra current draw is not on and shutting down the left side which would really complicate things.
I have a dead wire on RH needs to be replaced....
not an easy job by look of it.

You did fine.
This might help next time in the "bush",
Cars use DC current,
DC current is produced by the movement of electrons,
And these are negatively charged particles.
Which means it all works by these things coming out of NEGATIVE TERMINAL of the battery.
So in this case that means battery to chassis through the lamps up the wires to the BSI then switched by the same then routed via the light switch back to the battery pos+,
Kind of counter intuitive as most folks when faced with electrical faults concentrate on the battery positive side first.
Switch you thinking and electrics become a lot easier to figure out.

Hi. I have same problem no tail or stop light all other ok. Cannot pin numbered 12 or 14 in BCI. ANY HELP APPRECIATED
