Peugeot 308 fan running constantly

the fan is constantly running even after the engine is switched off. this is happening even buy turning the car on then off again the fan will run for at least 5-10 min. any ideas on were to start :)

Coolant temperature sensor would be a starting point.

Check coolant level first .
