Peugeot 308 passenger window not closing

Car: Peugeot 308
Variant: cc 2.0gt
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Good day to all.

Yesterday started the car and the ignition lights & power went off. Their was no power at all so i had to lock the doors manually with the key.
This morning i unpluged the positive terminal to try to get the battery out, (which looked an impossible mission) so i gave up and put the terminal back on. Turned the key the car turned over to my amazement
Problem is that when the passenger door is opened/closed the window stays down and has to be closed with the switch & ignition.
This was never an issue in the 5 years of ownership.
Any ideas on why this has happened would be helpful.

Regards

Try resetting window by lowering and holding button down for 5 secs and repeating in the up position .
