Peugeot 307 overheating and oil pressure loss

while driving,the stop sign appears and the temperature gauge goes to red.the resevoir has a layer of black slime and it says my oilpressure is insufficient.there is a slight oil leak but levels are ok.

If car is overheating oil will be thinning out which wont help oil pressure . Could try flushing out and cleaning header tank and also changing oil/ filter using correct grade , good oil .

may well be a head gasket issue, if unexplained overheat, sounds like the slime could be oil in coolant
