Ive got a problem with my car the ABS light is coming on the garage said it was the ABS pump so i bought a refurbished 1 that worked the garage said it just needs resetting then i get a phone call saying its the same error codes as my old ABS pump so theres a problem hes changed a sensor but still the same but in 2005 and 2008 the car was recalled because of the ABS ECU If this is linked to this problem are peugeot liable for this fault again and would this come up on the dianostic machine at a independant garage ... Ive taken it to peugeot today and they are putting it back on the machine as I went to an independant garage they said there codes are completely different is this true up to now Ive spent £400 on just labour and a sensor and Im still at the same postion as I was when I took it into the garage any advice .. hes checked the wheel bearings the sensors the wiring any advice !

Doubt if Peugeot or any other franchise would entertain a warranty claim on a 9yr old car especially after another garage spending £400 labour and replacing parts that never fixed fault and may have not been needed / faulty .
