i have had a problem with my heater it has stopped working and then started again when it is working it sometimes sounds as if it is still running even after the ignition is off resulting in the battery going flat i would appreciateany help i can get p.s i also keep getting a strong smell of fumes when it is running thanks again

this sounds like you have a wireing problem namely a live to the heater thats why it is intermittent, may be broken wire and shorting or staying on permanent hence flat battery
