the rear wiper operates spasmodicly.Ive switched "rev wipe" to inactive,on multifuncion display,but problem persists

Been told the usual cause is a faulty COMM 2000 switch , quite expensive .

first thing to do is check the switch with a multimeter to check it is opening and closing the switch contact.if this is all ok then you could be getting a short circuit.does the problem happen when anything else in particular is turned on?
