Peugeot 307 brake sqeal

Car: Peugeot 307
Variant: 1.6 5-door Manual
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
There has been an annoying sqealing from the brakes when applied for some weeks.
The local Peugeot dealer fitted new disks and pads to all four wheels some 3 weeks and over 1,000 miles ago and the sqealing still exists and is getting worse.
The local dealer has indicated that this is quite acceptable and another 1,000 miles or so is required to run the brakes in.
I am not happy about this and as the car is about to run out of its 3 year warrants in a month I would like some advice on how to deal with this issue. Is it a common issue as it has never been a problem on the other six Peugeot I have owned over the last 12 years.

New discs and new pads on all wheels and he says they need bedded in ????? Apart from that , after a 1,000 mls ,they must be well bedded in by now !!!!! Understand why you are not happy , get it back to garage and get them to fix it right .

I also have this make and model and I have got the same problem, what ever I try and do the problem does not go away. Even the slightest touch of the brakes and the squeal begins

have all brakes bin copper slipped it is the most common fault with brake squeals or the brake guard could of bin hit by a stone and slighty bent so it is in contact with disc or your brake caliper might of siezed
