Peugeot 307 starter motor not turning over when engine hot

Car: Peugeot 307
Variant: 1.6 cc
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
When the engine is at normal running temperature and you turn the ignition off then try to restart the car the starter motor will not even try to turn over thier is a click as if there is a solenoid operating but just nothing. If you give it 10minutes then try again it busts into life as normal. Car runs well in every other situation. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

POSSIABLE EARTH FAULT, TRY CLEANING THE EARTH POINT ON THE ENGING TO THE BODY WORK/BATTERY. iF YOU HAVE A DECENT PAIR OF JUMP LEADS, NEXT TIME IT HAPPENS CLAMP YOUR EARTH LEAD TO THE ENGINE AND THE OTHER END TO THE BATTERY. IF IT STARTS YOU HAVE FOUND THE PROBLM.
