Peugeot 307 engine antipollution light

Car: Peugeot 307
Variant: 2.0HDI
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
My car has been the garage for the last 3 weeks. The engine antipollution light came on and what ever we do it does not go off. My mechanic has changed the partalitic filter, sensors and other bits and now we are at a loss as to what it can be. Also have a problem with the car reving - doesnt go above 2000!
Any suggestions would be great

Thanks

Am def not buying peugeot again or anything french!

since fitting the partic filter have you reset the soot level in the ecm using lap top or scan tool otherwise the ecm doesnt know youve fitted a new dpf.also its in limp home map so it wont rev over about 2k check all codes in all systems prob to do with ecm thinking dpf still full

YIPPEE! Peugeot have finally found out the problem - The fuel cap sensor and some sort of oil is needed.

Getting all done next week and then (hopefully)all will be ok.

Good luck everyone!

I have exactly the same problem, and i have taken it back to the garage 5 times. They keep giving me temporary solutions. Thank you for this posting, nice to know i am not alone in my frustrations with this defective french junk. I too will never buy second hand french. Any suggestions on how they locate the defective sensor, or any further tips on getting this repaired.
