Peugeot 307 door open warning whilst driving

Car: Peugeot 307
Variant: Diesel hdi
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Whilst driving, the 'drivers door open' warning message displays on dash; beeps; and interior lights come on.
Especially after some rough road or curves.
Open and close the door and it's OK for a while but comes back and is incessant.

Usually caused by the micro switch in the lock assembly sticking .Sometimes can be cleared by spraying with WD40 .Opening and closing the door frees it off temporarly , likewise giving the door a dunt ..

Hi,

I realise that this is a very old post, but did you ever find the cause or a solution to fixing the issue?

I have the exact same problem with my Peugeot 208.

Thanks

Matt
