Peugeot 307 low compression 2 and 4 cylinder after new valves.head gasket and timing belt

Cam belt broke. All exaust valve s bent changed , , inlets valves good. .new top end gaskets. New timing belt fitted. On starting engine Trying to fire. On compression testing low pressure 2 and 4 cylinder 40 psi. 1 and 3 cylinders 110 psi. 16v engine petrol.

Take it valve seats were not damaged and valves cut into head o.k ? Was head damaged or checked / skimmed ? Double check timing but could be head gasket also .
