Throttle body's will have a stepper motor in,
if it is fly by wire.
That's what fails.
Nothing visual will be wrong with it most probably.

Hi, Could the flap on Throttle Body be repaired or is a new one required? Cheers

I doubt the flap would be faulty.
It will be the stepper motor connected to it.
You may be able to remove the motor and just change that part but most that I have come across you have to change the whole body

Thanks Tony 811976,I will have to look around for one. I disconnected the brown plug that I think controls the flap and it ran just the same, but engine light came on.When the light comes on it still runs ok and when I plug pp2000 in it comes up with High turbo pressure. Thanks for your time. Cheers

The flaps on the double air dozer have been known to work loose.Make sure the rod on the turbo pressure release valve actually moves as you could be loosing vacuum too it. The solenoid that controls it may also have failed. You would benefit from checking the vacuum pipes also.
