f the car was starting normally before the battery was replaced, it looks like you disconnected the old one without all electrical circuits switched off and maybe sparked the leads against the battery posts, which can spike the BSI unit .
If the BSI unit has not been damaged it might respond to the reboot procedure, as follows;
Lower the driver's window, lift the bonnet and make sure all circuits are switched off, all doors closed, and the key is out of the ignition. Wait 3 minutes, disconnect the battery and wait 15 seconds. Reconnect the battery, taking care not to cause a spark by "dragging" the leads against the posts, wait 10 seconds before switching on the sidelights through the open window (don't open the doors). Insert the key in the ignition and check the dashboard lights are working. hold the lock button on the key down for 10 seconds. Remove the key, open and close the door and use the remote key control to lock and unlock the doors. Now pray and start the engine, you may have to repeat this procedure several times for it to work. If it doesn't the BSI unit is damaged and will have to be sent to BB Reman for overhaul.
