Peugeot 307 roof does not open after manual clossure (no dashboard error)

Peugeot 307cc, 2006. Roller blind fell off today while folding the roof, had dashboard error message even after I put the blind back in place. Therefore I closed the roof manualy. Now when trying to open the roof windows go down, roof lock unlocks, i can hear the motor in the back operating but nothing happens when i stop the action the only message that appears is that roof manuevre not complete.. Can the boot lock be stuck or something? Or any possible fixes?

I know nothing about electric roofs sorry, so its best not to guess apart from putting the roof manually back to where it preciously failed and try in that position or try disconnecting the battery to reset the roof ECU maybe????

Make sure your luggage cover in the boot I if fitted is fully closed,other than that it may just require calibration by your dealer.

to reset the roof manually it has to complete a full cycle i.e up and down

Went to the dealer they said they can't do system reset as there is no fault. I have found the actual problem: boot side locks are not releasing the boot to start performing roof manuevre.

is the roof unlocking fully.The micro switches to the frt roof catches can sometimes stick.

Can you manually release the locks as the roof is closing to see if it will complete the manoeuvre?

Yes, if you release the locks manually (with pull rings), then it will do the manuevre as usual.
