I strongly recommend you buy an OBD2 Scanner. They can be found at most auto shops and online for less than $60.
With the details obtained, you are then best placed to determine the right fix first up.
If the Scanner shows up "multiple engine misfires" then you should look to replace the coil packs and spark plugs (failing to replace plugs may just lead to the coil pack failing).
Again, when going for coil pack do some searching for them online as Peugeot part is more expensive than identical unit for Citroen! again third party products can be bought for 1/4 price of Peugeot unit.
It's simple to replace, just get your torx drivers out and remove the screws on the plastic engine cover! a few more tors screws remove the coil pack. When taking this off, be careful not to break the vacuum line, which gets brittle with age. If you do mess this up, get a silicone hose replacement from your local auto parts place, as it is more durable and flexible than the factory plasticky bit.
