Peugeot 307 electrical problem

help please if you can......the computer on my dashboard that does the radio.temp.time...after 30 or 40 mins it starts to glow orange and ya cant see lettering on the display??? been to pug parts today at rotherham they tested the computer n said its ok told me its electrical problem maybe with wires??? BUT WHERE DO I START N WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR???? PLEASE HELP all i can say is the three bulbs in the computer,well one of the three is brighter than the other two and apparentley the brighter one is getting hot n making the screen glow more than it should

try replacing that bulb. failing that take it out and just have one bulb on either side,you should still be able to see.

yeah iv changed the bulbs but for some reason theres still one brighter than the other amd if i take the brighter one out then you cant see the display?? its been doing my head in for ages now pug parts put a new one in that was working ok but as soon as they put it in mine it was glowing again???

its probably a faulty display.

they put a new display in today that was working on another car but wouldnt work in my car??? iv just tried it with 2 bulbs and you couldnt see the lettering so iv put the bulb thats brighter in on its own and turnd the brightness down a bit it looks ok but you can still see the glowing it seems the bulb is a brighter bulb thats whats whats making the orange glow??? so couldt it be the bulbs even though iv tried six diffrent bulbs???

Hi my prob is lights on dash display(temp,radio station etc) stays on all night draining my batt!!
Any ideas???
