3008 2019 model 37,500 miles. Should this have been recalled and a part fixed in 2020?We originally had the error appear (700 miles until starting impossible) in June, the garage reset the computer and removed the fault. 3.5 months later the fault reappeared and this time the car was looked at and there is a leak from the injector. Given the activity on forums this seem to be a faulty part? And has caused significant damage.

If it was a Peugeot dealership and fully serviced by them , you could try pursuing them for at least a contribution towards costs if known defect

Thanks. I am speaking with goodwill. It was from a dealership and full service history with them. The issue I have is that the leak caused £2k of damage as the catalytic convertor needs replaced too. The second issue I have is that the car first showed the fault in May/June and the garage re-set the computer. Then 3.5 months later the same fault and lots of internal damage. I wonder if it could have been there on the first error message and not investigated fully? Goodwill are saying due to age (2019) and mileage (37k) they will only contribute 50% to repairs. Which given the costs of the repairs, and the source being a known issue, I'm not happy with. Am I being unreasonable?

If same fault it should be logged in their system that car was in for checking and whether any action , if any was taken to rectify or the fault codes were just erased and reset
