Peugeot 3008 indicators not self cancelling told it has to go back to peugeot for software update

Took to local garage Told it had to go back to Peugeot to be repaired and software update Phoned Arnold Clark at Ayr said it would probably be my indicator bulb and take it to my local garage and that was when i was told about update Thats Arnold Clark service for you??

There is a TSB covering this fault on some , rubbish reply from A Clark . If that branch is a Peugeot dealership they should have known about the TSB .

TSB (Technical Service Bulletin):

D6AW019XQ0 - Applies to vehicles until RPO 14796

If you have your VIN or the RPO number from the door pillar, that will confirm if your car is affected by this TSB.

It reads:

Customer Symptom: The direction indicators steering wheel control does not return to its rest position automatically when the steering wheel is re-centralised.

Condition in which fault appears: When using the direction indicators

After Sales Repair: Replacement of the steering wheel controls/multifunction control block

Labour time: 0.60hours
