Peugeot 208 power wing mirror not working

Car: Peugeot 208
Variant: Xy
Model Year: 2013
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi help please.

Drivers side wing mirror
It has not been hit clipped or knocked.
Locked the car earlier mirrors fold in fine.

Go to jump in the car passenger side mirror works fine drivers side mirror moved less than a inch and that's it.
Motor you can hear is working mirror itself moves and indicator is working fine.

I needed to go out so pushed the mirror to open it fully no pressure behind it driving along the mirror unit is bouncing around.

Any ideas as this car is going in as a part ex on Thursday, the garage offer free delivery so I am taking advantage of it rather than driving 30 miles each way myself so I can't even hide it in the car park as there driver will drive it back

No idea in regard to that car but found this . Might / might not apply , is from a 208 GTi forum with similar problem

" Given that they were working last night and then not this morning, I am hoping that a system setting had not changed while the vehicle has been in 'shutdown' mode overnight.

I have found the PDF of the manual (thanks anyway) and think that if the mirror adjustment is pulled towards the rear of the door they mirrors will fold out again (will try this tonight). "
