Peugeot 207 clutch

Car: Peugeot 207
Variant: 1.6cc
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
it seems as if the clutch master/slave cylinder seals have gone. when you depress the pedal the clutch disengages but then slowly re engages the pedal remaining down. I was going to try bleeding the system and can see a bleed nipple but no fluid resvoir or any way of entering fluid into the system. Is this a sealed system or does it need specialist equipment to refill it. Any advice will be much appreciated.Thanks.

it seams i was a bit hastey. contacted peugeot and they said the master cylinder was supplied from the brake fluid resevoir. After much crawling around under car i eventually found the fluid supply line from the brake resevoir. tried bleeding system but problem persists. So i think its time for some skined knucles attemping to replace master cylinder.

A lot of cars nowadays use the twin circuit master cyls reservoirs which feed brake / clutch and this can catch people out .
