Peugeot 207 heater duct full of water

Car: Peugeot 207
Variant: 1.4 hdi
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Rain water got into the drivers footwell and seems to be still in the heater ducting as when turning corners there is a swishing sound (like water) coming from the dash and also the screen tends to mist up a bit.
Is there any drain tubes that may be blocked and how do I clear and cure the problem

Usual cause is water drains in corners at bulkhead choked and needing cleaned .

I have the same with mine and its really annoying. There is a drainage hole under the windscreen which gets blocked easily. You can get to it by opening the bonnet and lifting the plastic mesh just under the windscreen. I have to poke my finger in the hole about once a month....not pleasent!

Just an update on an old post.....Car went in for a service last week and I mentioned that water was getting into the drivers side footwell. The dealer imediately said that it is probably the drain under the windscreen that is getting blocked and the then water builds up and comes in through the pollen filter housing. Peugeot have issued instructions to dealers to put in another drainage hole in a location that they have found doesn't get blocked.
