Peugeot 207 2012-207 petrol, check engine light comes on and won't go over 2000rpm

My 2012 peugout 207, upon starting the check engine light came on, car wont rev past 2000rpm and will start to lurch backwards and forwards at around 50kmph

Could be ignition coil pack which is common fault , to be sure scan it for fault codes and see what has triggered light
