Peugeot 207 constant live feed to starter motor solonoid, caused motor to burn out

Initially, starter motor failed and was replaced, following severe wet weather starter motor failed again, found to have a constant live feed to the starter solonoid when ignition was switched on, suspect water ingress to BCI control unit under fuse box
