Peugeot 207 steering pulls heavily to the right

Car: Peugeot 207
Variant: Peugeot 207 Verve 1.4 diesel
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
No lights or faults showing. From what I have been reading it seem a common fault and a very expensive fix. I might as well scrap the motor. I am disgusted why they have not beefed up the system by now. I am an eighty two year old retired motor mechanic and I have seen much of this sort of thing before. I do not quite know what to do but I do not see why I should pay for Peugeot Citroens bad design.
Many Thanks
Tony Booker.

This is the last time I will be buying PEUGEOT.

Dont know much about this fault on that particular vehicle . But all I can suggest if not already carried out , is having a full steering geometry / alignment check , checking for any excessive wear on steering or suspension , try changing front wheels over and see if any change , check engine and transmission mountings .
