Peugeot 207 lights/power steering fault

Car: Peugeot 207
Variant: 1.4 petrol
Model Year: 2011
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I've had a light out for about a year now the other has stopped working. I had a fault for a day with power steering but it rectified itself the next day. Now 2 months later the p/s light is on and the p/s no longer works. its been to a garage who diagnosed the BSI but they couldn't re programme the BSI, also they said there was no sign of water in the electrical compartment. Is it possible the Two problems are related and if so what could it be? I really don't know what to do next without spending a fortune at Peugeot. HELP PLEASE.

BSI's can be repaired,
Biggest firm that I'm aware of is "BBA REMAN".
Goole that for connection .
And try BSI repair on Ebay,
sure there's at least one ad there.
Advantage with repair is no need for re programing.
