the odometer ,millage stays on even after the car has been locked,battery been drained ,cant find a way to turn the display off

So little power drawn by that system I'm guessing MONTHS before it would drain a battery.
So your looking for another system to be powered on.

It may be a fault with the instrument cluster itself but the Bsi isn't shutting down properly as it is seeing something consuming current,so several systems are still awake..Try disconnecting the cluster to see if the battery remains charged but I would also get the battery in case it is on its way out.Also check the ubder bonnet fuse box for signs of water ingress
