Peugeot 207 exhaust fumes

Car: Peugeot 207
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
I have just bought a Peugeot 207which is a year old with 12,000 miles on the clock. I now notice that there are some fumes coming out of the exhaust. Well normally you don't SEE the fumes but I can actually see a bit of smoke/fumes. Would you say that the previous owner has burnt the engine and I should go back to the dealer and complain?

You say "smoke" could just be steam as all engines produce some water as part of the combustion process. The cold weather allows you to see this more than in warmer weather.Doubt thers much to worry about.
