Peugeot 207 faulty anti pollution warning, engine cut out, steering feels sluggish

Car: Peugeot 207
Variant: 1.4 SE
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Im getting an engine warning light saying 'Faulty Anti Pollution' when I start it up. Over the past 2 weeks it's cut out on me a few times, usually when it's idling or slow moving in 1st/2nd gear. Also I've noticed the steering feels sluggish, like the power steering is failing but Im getting no warning lights about that. I took it to a local garage and explained the problems to the mechanic, he changed a sensor in the engine but warned me it could be the 'DPF'. If so he warned me it could be costly if that is the problem. The car is still under extended guarantee, as I only bought it 2 yrs ago.

You need to go to a garage that has Peugeot Planet diagnostic software.main cealer is the obvious choice, and have them run a DPF regeneration cycle,
might fix it,might not,if so it's goung to need at least a new DPf.
Oh and contact the guarantee and ask them if it's covered.

Peugeot 207 1.4, manual, petrol, 8 valve, 2007.50000 km.You can drive normally about 30 km.After that it starts to lose power, to interrupts, can not accelerating. It must stand at least 1 hour. After that repeat the same process. Anti pollution light is off.
