Peugeot 207 citrine fluid

car has had a service everything went without a hitch turbo not blowing apparently part and parcel of owning a diesel car but have been told that the citrine fueladditive housing needs attention .what is this never heard of it before and feel like im having my leg lifted by garage to get something out of me because had nothing to pay for service

I`m not sure what it is either! I would take it somewhere else and get a second opinion before you shell out any dosh.

This is the housing for the additive for the diesel pariculate filter the additive needs fitting at certain intervals, sounds like they want to fill it for you, or is the housing damage as you suggest, as suggested i would get a second oppinion at your local independant garage

the cerine comes in a pouch and these can sometimes leak. i would imahine yours has sprung a leak.you are not having your leg pulled!

thanks once again guys .Paulieone you said what i was hoping someone would, the garage said the cerine pouch has a slight leak nothing to worry about but wife doesn,t want it getting worse so having it sorted
