Peugeot 206 dimmed battery light

Car: Peugeot 206
Variant: 1.4 Manual Petrol
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
hiya,
just before christmas my battery light came on, so ive changed the alternator and battery, however the battery light is constantly still on but dimmed.
I have had a charge test and it was 75-100 %.
However if i leave it unstarted for a few days, the battery will run flat again.
Ive even checked my radio connections to see if its connected to ignition or constant. It is connected to ignition but im very quickly running out of patience with it. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions would be great! thanks :)

Thanks for all your suggestions guys, i have cleaned the earth on the alternator but still no change. How can i do find out if it is my starter motor?
And in relation to the voltage, i cant quite remember what the voltage was but all i know is that the mechanic that done it said it was 'normal'.

Check the earth between engine / gearbox to body .

i agree with Whittinghame. check that first

check the main positive connections on starter motor the main pos on alternator comes from starter. also the main ignition fuse supplies the field circuit on alternator could be a bad fuse connection.
