Peugeot 206 steering

When steering is on full lock to the left or right, car will keep turning and wont return to centre unless i straighten steering wheel up a bit then it will start to return, power steering works fine when driving, seems to happen at low speed? any help thanks

first things to check are power steering fluid level and for any leaks and check the pas belt if it is belt driven pump.if it is electric pump then check wiring connection to motor is secure,if this all apears ok then problem could lie in steering rack or pipework

top suspension mount bearings may be worn or corroded
