Peugeot 206 intermittent rubbing noise over 55 mph when engine is hot

Car: Peugeot 206
Variant: 1.4 Petrol Zest
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I'm having strange noises coming from the bonnet when accelerating over 55 MPH when the engine is at about 90'C. It does not go over 90'C.
It sounds like a squeaking/rubbing or generator type noise which comes and goes like Morse code.
It does not stop when putting the car into neutral when travelling downhill but stops when decelerating, or travelling below 55 MPH.
The timing belts have been changed a few months back and I have no warning lights.

Any suggestions?

i would probably say its a dry roller or pulley guide on the timing belt side of things was this problem there before you had the belts replaced if not then i would suspect these are at fault

This seems to happen when the engine is hot and gets louder and happens more often when the heater is on.
How would I go about resolving this?
