Sounds as if you electric fan has finally packed up and needs replaced .You may also have blown a fuse / relay with it running in that condition .You should be able to pick one up in a scrappie if you want to save some money . Easy to fit and would be advisable to get it replaced asap or else you could end up with damage to engine if you keep running with fan knackered .You could also check this from Peugeot forum re. fan not kicking in on that car .

hi,,also check fuse 7 and 29 ofbm34(under bonnet fuse box)
first thing to try tho is the disconnecting of brown sensor plug to confirm if motor runs.
not sure of exact temp,but think around 94deg.
and
apart from the relays/wiring the fan rheostat is very common(seen through lower grill of bumper,10mmbolt holds it)
