Peugeot 206 creaks and leaks

recently my car has begun to make a creaking sound. it started off just when i was pulling away but now can be heard when moving and stationary, when unloading or getting out of the car. then i started to notice water in my drivers foot well. the car has been to the garage but they said there is nothing i can do and they dont know why both of these are happening. is this true or is there something i can do? why is this as the car was fine a month ago.

two seperate problems i think. Creaking could be suspension/ball joints. Water is probably comming in thru the windscreen or because of a blocked drain channel
