Peugeot 206 windscreen wipers.

When ever I turn on ignition or start the car,the front wipers sweep the screen even though turned off. This is sometimes only once and other times more..

Could be faulty , worn wiper stalk / switch , fault in motor or even wiring but more commonly the switch .
