Peugeot 206 power

Car: Peugeot 206
Variant: 1.6 XT
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi

I see lots of problems with 206 power but nothing which relates to me.

My PUG is a 2004 1.6 XT. Most of the time I have no issues. But at times I will be driving at lower speeds and the revs will fall to idle and when I press on accelerator it will climb very little.

While car is moving I switch it off and start it again with no problem and it will drive normal. Sometimes it will do this a few times repeatedly and other times it will go days without doingt his.

I have replaced the body throttle and was fine for about a month then started doing it again. This is intemittent and like I say when I switch the ignition off and start again it will go fine.

Anyone with ideas? Please.

Tnx guys

So many things this could be!
If I had it my diagnostics can run "flight mode" which basically keeps monitoring the ECU while being driven.
But if I were guessing I'd try the throttle position .sensor.

I would probably try a reset of the autoadaptives first
