Peugeot 206 car just lost power and cut out plus wont start

hi there! i hope someone can help me? i was driving in town then my car lost power and the engine just died., i tried to start it but it wont start,it turns over but when i turn it over the window wipers come on of there own accord and the stop light on my dash! i no it has petrol in, i never hit a bump in the road nor had the car shown any signs of ill health before this! please help?? cheers

Charge the battery first,that "may" sort the wipers but if not then the BSI needs scanned for faults.
