Peugeot 206 constant beeping sound

just recently had to top up the hydraulic fluid for the convertible as it was getting stuck and since then i get a constant beeping noise while driving. If i stop the car and play with the switch to the convertible, it stops for a short while and then starts back up again. Any suggestions?

I would think you need to get it checked out with Peugeot Planet software and see any fault codes stored.

sounds like boot catches are not locked in properly or the cables need adjusting
