Peugeot 206 car won't start after battery change. windows central locking not working

Variant: 206cc 1.6
Model Year: 2002

I haven't driven my car for about 8 weeks so a friend popped in a brand new battery for me. My car now won't start. The windows won't work the central locking won't work.The windscreen wipers are the only thing to work and I cannot stop them either.
We can't do a bsi reset as the windows won't lower..Any help please?

Sounds like the BSI has been damaged.
Can you get a global scan done with Peugeot Planet?
