Peugeot 206 indicator/ lights not working properly

Car: Peugeot 206
Variant: 1.1 Verve
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Sometimes after putting the indicator on pointing left, it stops and turns the lights on, for roughly 3-8 seconds then turns them off again then the indicator cancels. If the lights are already on then the indicator will just stop flashing but cancel as normal after the corner. If full beam is on and the indicator is on it will stop, it will turn full beam off and then cancel again. It doesn't happen all the time I use the indicator however its still quite annoying. Never happens when indicator is pointing right.

Check your bulb sockets for corrosion.
