What you "have" to get done is a scan on the Body systems interface,
Only Peugeot,or someone with top level diagnostics,
Not the kind of thing a small garage usually has.
The BSI is a control module that everything electrical runs through and then runs out,
IT CONTROLS EVERYTHING!
See a website for more gen called "BBAREMAN".

Hi
Whilst i totally agree with the first guy, most competent indipendent garages do have the technology to check body controllers and can bus systems, or at least the common sense to bring in a mobile specialist. You may just have a faulty facia which can be replaced or specialist repaired.
Speak to you local garages, if they make sense then use them.

Take " busted knuckles "advice as he is correct in saying most if not all small independant garages will not have the correct equipment to diagnose this fault .Check engine earth strap to body .
