May be something rubbing,or a drive shaft c.v. Joint ,but usually that would be more of a clicking noise,Best thing to do is jack up that side and check the obvious first ,that there,s no side to side play or up and down movement,check the coil spring is complete ,put your hand on top of the strut and spin the wheel to check for any roughness in the bearing,and that the wheel rotates freely,only other thing is strut top mounting they are quite prone to noise,hope you this helps.:-)
