Peugeot 206 clutch squealing

can any one help or shed light ? just done done the clutch on my Peugeot 206 1.6 glx replaced the clutch assembly and the thrust bearing, didn't touch slave cylinder as its external, put it all back together but now when you push the clutch down it starts to make noise and when your driving you get a loud high pitched squealing/squeaking like metal rubbing together, any advice???

Something wrong inside there ,maybe the release bearing not correctly located or something loose,probably going to have to strip it back down and see what the issue is.

Is the clutch plate in the correct way round,if it is not that could be your issue,it,s normally marked with flywheel side.

Input shaft bearing, seal and sleeve the clutch bearing it slides on are common failures on that car .

If you can remember if there was a noise issue prior to any work then that will narrow down the possibles i.e. The fault was not theoretical previously and it,s something that,s been built in,or it,s just happened since replacement.
